Uniting Australian kids of all abilities through fun and exciting game based activities, Junior Blasters is all about fast-paced fun, friends and being part of a squad. Sessions run for one hour each Sunday morning; Seasons run for a minimum of 8 weeks; 2023-24 fees are $95 per child; each player gets a Woolies Blast cricket gift set.

Where is our home ground and clubhouse?
Our home ground is at Hays Paddock, on Leason Street (off Kilby Road) in Kew East

When does the season start and end?
The first Woolies Blast session will be on October 27, running to about February.

What about during school & Christmas holidays?
We don't run sessions during the primary school holiday periods but we'll confirm once the season begins.

How long are the sessions?
The sessions take about one hour each Friday, run by club coaches and parent volunteers.
What do we do in each session?
We'll run safe, simple and easy games and activities to simulate core skills and match scenarios. The main objective is to have fun and meet new friends.

When do you run these sessions?
Each Friday afternoon at 4pm for 60 minutes.

What do we need to buy or bring?
We'll provide you with a T-shirt with your child's name on it; Bucket hat in your choice of Big Bash team colour; Plastic bat; Rubber ball; Personalised bat sticker sheet; Junior Blasters Skill scorecard. All you need is some shorts, comfortable sneakers, water bottle, hat and sunscreen.

Can parents volunteer or get involved?
Absolutely, we'll need the help of parents to run activities, coordinate the kids and have fun with your kids. Coaches will allocate roles to willing parents on the day or in advance.

What is the cost for the Woolworths Cricket Blast season?
Fees for the whole season and equipment pack are $95
